I wasn't a great student. I did well on tests, my teachers liked me, but I was horrible with homework. I just didn't do it. Oh how times have changed.
This January I got the wonderful opportunity to study with The Barrow Group in NYC as part of their Intensive Program. I thought I would get to go out to dinner each night, maybe catch a few shows. Nope. Not at all. I spent every night, in my room, alone, with my scripts. Memorizing scenes for the next day. Rehearsing. Researching. And it was FANTASTIC. It was a hard month, but I learned so much. It so fulfilling and motivating to be engrossed in something I'm passionate about. Some times growing hurts, but I'm glad to finally be earning an A.
